About Us…

The Shepherd’s Center of Fairfax-Burke (“SCFB”) is a local affiliate of the Shepherd’s Centers of America (www.shepherdcenters.org).  Shepherd’s Centers consist of networks of interfaith and other community-based organizations.  

The SCFB serves the Fairfax-Burke area and is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, which was incorporated on September 12, 2006.  Shepherd’s Centers are set up to provide meaning and purpose to the lives of adults 50 years and older and have a common mission to empower older adults to use their wisdom and skills for the good of their communities.  Lifelong learning opportunities and social services are provided through partnerships with many faiths and the community at large.
